I attended the TLEiA 2007 international conference in Langkawi from 13-16 June 2007 at Holiday Villa Beach & Spa Resort. Since I went there alone, I brought along my cousins - Khairun & Izzat.
I was so surpised to see the new Langkawi  . Before this I've been there twice - 1994 & 2002, but it was unlike now. There are lots of development such as new shops, hotels & interesting places.
We spent our time by going to the cable car, shopping at Kuah and visited a few places.

This is my first time being in the most talk about waterpark - Tiara Beach Resort, Port Dickson. It is a nice place provided that you have the whole family members including children with u.
I was there for a workshop from 30 May - 2 June 2007. Children seemed to enjoy themselves to the fullest. As a adult, I just enjoyed the view.

A trip to Sabah...bah!
|
|
Last week, we went to Sabah...to be exact Tawau & Kota Kinabalu. It was a great breakaway. Really a change of view, environment & air for us. Below is the summarised version of when & where we went :
27 April 2007 : Flew to Tawau & went to my sis-in-law's, stayed 1 nite
28 April 2007 : Flew to Kota Kinabalu ; head for Kundasang, stayed 1 nite
29 April 2007 : Back to Kota Kinabalu ; round the city, stayed 1 nite
30 April 2007 : Flew back to Tawau ; stayed 1 nite again
1 May 2007 : Back to KL
Eventhough we did lots of moving here & there, it was a memorable holiday. Should do this more often. Enjoyed the seafood & of course pearls. Didn't buy lots of things though due to excess baggage phobia. Just get myself some crystal & pearls bracelets (my husband paid for them  ) and some souvenirs for close relatives & colleagues. Papa Turns 60!
|
|
Today is Papa's 60th birthday. So, the 3 of us decided to surprise him with a small party. We all planned to be at his place by 5pm. When we reached there, he was not so surprised because it's normal for us to go & lepak at his place. My bros gave me the responsibility to prepare the food, so I managed to do these - BBQ Chicken & Mushroom Mee. It was a small party, more of a family get together. We brought a small chocolate cake from the Cottage Bakery. Yummy! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PAPA!

Welcome to the world - BABY MIKHAEL!

I was awaken by a phone call from my brother at 12.15 midnite to inform that his wifey (my sis in law, of course) has given birth to their first baby  I was sooooooooo happy for them  and I can't wait to see them at the hospital the next day. Later in the evening a troop of us went to visit unfortunately Yus was already in the labour room  So, we just met Fendi. According to the doc, she will take a bit longer to deliver, so we all went back home. So, today I managed to visit them and I was sooooo happy to meet the new family member - MIKHAEL AFFENDI

Zulaikha's 10th Birthday Party
|

Zulaikha celebrates her birthday on 10 February every year. Today she turned 10 and her parents planned a small party at my Grandma's. So, all the close relatives were invited. Everybody was there except for auntiesu, busu, fen & yus  The menu :- mihun goreng, pizza, caramel, bread pudding and of course birthday cake It was an enjoyable evening where everybody managed to get together and exchange stories. I only have a few pictures...coz I don't have the heart to let to food to wait for me To my dearest niece - HAPPY BIRTHDAY, dear! (ppsstt...sorry haven't got the chance to get ur present ..will get your present soon)

FPBU Family Day 2007

My faculty has organised its first ever family day on 20 & 21 January 2007. It was in Camar Laut Bagan Lalang, Selangor. Although not everybody turned up, but it was a memorable event and it was definitely fun, especially the sukaneka.  Here are some of the photos.

Yes, these are cats - my favourite pet. When I was a child I always wanted to have a cat as a pet but I was not allowed to by everybody in my family. The reason was I was not big enough to carry the responsibilities as an owner of a cat. When I got married, I didn't know that my husband also likes cat. He likes cat even when he was small and the only difference between us is that he had the chance to look after a cat at home when he was small. So now that we are living on our own, we decided to have some cats around. A cat came into our life last raya. We called him "PUTIH". And later my husband found another cat and he took him back home, we call him "BEYANG"
